Now more than ever, The Open Book Theatre Company needs your help.

With Covid's affect on the arts, especially theatre; and the sad loss of our founder and artistic director, Marvin Kaye in 2021, The Open Book is struggling to continue to put on great theatre, as well as maintain our other educational and literary programs.

What we need as much as working capital is talent. Yours.

To bring The Open Book back to it’s former glory, we need help in several areas:
•Website maintenance
•Fundraising and grant applications (Commissions paid!)
•Social Media management
•Advertising and promotion
•Research of NYC venues, costs and requirements.
•Script readers for our Playwriting contest
•Content developers for our educational programs
•People skilled in technical theatre— sets, lighting, sound, costumes.
•New playwrights, scripts and projects.
•Stage and House management
•Talented Actors (who we always pay.)

We need talented, enthusiastic people skilled in all areas of theatre, marketing and financing to work in a true collaboration with this unique and long-lived theatre company. You will be included in the creative decision making process of bringing productions to the stage.
